Gamme Connaisseur. IPA Américaine L’Interdite nous rappelle les barils de bières jetées aux égouts durant la prohibition aux États-Unis. Lorsque le brassage y redémarra, les houblons très amers dominèrent rapidement le marché. Nous brassons L’Interdite en souvenir de cette époque. Houblonnée pendant 90 minutes, cette bière est savoureuse et… très amère! Aux notes florales et herbacées s’ajoutent des flaveurs complexes d’agrumes et un goût légèrement malté. L’Interdite, an American-style India Pale Ale (IPA), harkens back to 1919 when the prohibition laws forbidding the manufacture and selling of alcohol were enacted in the USA. L’Interdite invokes a time when beer barrels were dumped into the sewers during the American Prohibition era. When brewing was again permitted, powerful bittering hops rapidly dominated the market. We brew L’Interdite in homage to these times. Hopped for 90 minutes, this beer is flavorful and…very bitter! Floral and herbaceous notes are complemented by complex citrus flavours and a subtle malty taste.
