In the spirit of most Trappist breweries, Patriarch is our “patersbier” or “father’s beer” that will only be available within the brewery at Idle Hands. Our patersbier is a lighter, Belgian single style beer. Patriarch is the first beer in the Idle Hands family lineage that we brew in order to promulgate the Idle Hands Craft Ales yeast. For a limited time, we will be sampling and selling growlers of Patriarch at the brewery.
