This medium bodied German Schwarzbier, a lager, was fermented at an increased temperature from typical lagering ranges. This technique turns it into what is commonly referred to as a "Steam Beer". Increasing the black malt content, delivers a subtle smoky character in the finish sending this uncommon steam beer up in smoke!
