Our 10* Farmers Pale Ale holds a special place at Three Notch’d – it represents our commitment to supporting local Virginia hop farmers and it’s also our first ever bottle release. Why the asterisk? Well, this inaugural 2014 ale actually ended up including 12 farmers. There was just too much excitement to stop at 10, and each of the farmers who collaborated with us on this ale brought 20 or so pounds of fresh hops picked just hours before the morning brew. This delightfully fresh, exceptional pale ale is 90% Cascade and rounded off with Zeus, Chinook, and Nugget. Please enjoy this beer fresh and check back each year for 10* Farmers Pale Ale at harvest time.
