We have made a pair of IPAs with classic American hops Chinook, Willamette, and Cascade. The recipes are identical except for the growing region of the hops, USA or NZ. Now we let the terrior shine through. Both beers have a golden-orange hue, a light malt sweetness blending with soft hop bitterness and American hop notes of citrus and soft fruits, but which is the better beer? Well that’s just obvious!
