Brewed using the finest pale and dark malts and a genuine Scottish ale yeast, with an alcohol content of 8% this rich, malty sweet ale certainly lives up to its name. The 2005 brew has the added complexity of an after smokiness created by a peated malt for McCallums Distillery in Scotland added to the beer.
