When we brainstormed ideas for this collaboration, we decided to go with something wilder than anything either of us had done before - and created a recipe with a grist consisting of barley, wheat and oats, and an amount of hops that by far exceeds anything either of us had made before. Simcoe and Columbus in the kettle, and ridiculous amounts of Citra and Mosaic in several dry hop additions give this Double IPA lovely notes of tropical fruits, pine and citrus. Intense aroma, restrained bitterness.
