Originally pumpkins were used in brewing beer because they were hearty and plentiful in 19th century Ontario. This beer captures the essence of pumpkin pie that is rich in aroma and spicy in flavour. Of course we use real pumpkin in the brew kettle and infuse it with a blend of spices including nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon. The result is a golden ale heady in spices and flavor!
