In the beginning of 2006 the people behind Denmark's leading beer bar "Ølbaren", the leading beer shop "Ølbutikken" and Ølfabrikken sat down together to plan a beer that was to be only served from tap at Ølbaren and only sold in bottles from Ølbutikken. After a night of drinking it ended up with a massive Russian Imperial Chocolate Stout using ingredients from four continents. South american Cocoa, Asian coffee, North american hops and European malts. Ølfabrikken ØL is, of course, unpasteurized, unfiltered and cask conditioned like all of our beers.
