Baladin Birra Lurisia Dieci (10) Le Baladin Piozzo, Piemonte
Beer style: Belgian Ale - Strong Pale Ref: ratebeer.com Jun2024
Common descriptors are Top-fermented unpasteurized beer produced in an artisanal way in Piozzo (Italy) with pure Lurisia water, buckwheat from Valli Monregalesi, Italian barley malt, yeast, hops and spices. The Dieci has the same raw materials as Sei, but is fermented with scotch whisky yeast. The result is a beer with a completely different flavor profile, less winey and less spicy. Here are warm, soft, fruit syrup tones. It’s a very dry beer, in which you feel the alcohol; in the mouth it is bold, fat, but also spicy, never cloying; the finish is long. |
