As of approximately July 2007 the new ownership of Old Dominion has decided that the actual Oak Barrel version of this beer is not economically feasible. Thus the Oak Barrel Stout that is available at the brewpub is the exact same one that is in bottles. Aged in used Bourbon Oak barrels, Dominion Oak Barrel Stout is a lovely, creamy dark beer with a hint of chocolate and a distinctive vanilla, oak and bourbon flavor.
