This very special ale was brewed to celebrate the birth of Brewmaster Jamie’s first son Jackson. More than three times the amount of malt of a normal strength beer is used to reach the mighty realm of barley wine. To honor Jack’s heritage, it was brewed with all German malts and hops, then fermented with a unique Scottish ale yeast strain from Edinburgh. It was dry hopped with German Tettnanger hops, and has been aging for over six months to mature and develop its luxurious flavors and aromas. Jamie recommends you take the time to let it warm slightly, releasing the abundance of fruity aromas and pleasing malt flavors. Cheers to Jack!
