The malt flavor is light and slightly toasty, hops dominate the aroma and overshadow most grain flavors. Hop flavors range from piney to grapefruit citrusy. The fresh wet hops add a particular ‘green’ that screams Harvest Ale. Harvest Ale has 7 hop strikes (points at which hops are added) and contains 3 varieties of hops. All 3 are considered American Aroma & Bittering Hops. It was wet-hopped with all locally grown Cascade and Nugget hops.
