In the early days of monastic brewing, monks would often brew special ales that were lower in alcohol then their commercially available counterparts, entirely for their own consumption. Lost Virtue is our take on that type of ale. The deep burnt caramel color is deceiving, as this ale is crisp, refreshing, and flavorful. With notes of fruit and a hint of coffee, this beer is exceptionally drinkable, with a pleasant dry finish.
