Modelled on the story of a famous Valkyrie, Brynhild, this first beer of Valkyrie Brewing Co is a golden ale – representative of Brynhild’s golden hair and the ring of fire she slept in awaiting her hero’s arrival. It has a full-bodied flavour, incorporating a touch of New Zealand by the special addition of Hokey Pokey (or “sponge toffee”). This European Golden Ale taunts the palate with full malt character from European malts then to balance with a subtle hop edge of NZ Pacifica hops to give this Golden Ale the full complement of a true, fine 5% ABV Ale.
