A strong pumpkin ale brewed with all the essential ingredients of a good pumpkin pie. We started out roasting our own baking pumpkins. The mash consists of roasted pumpkin meat, 2-row barley, caramel malt, and whole graham crackers. We then added Galena, Columbus, and Mt Hood hops for a citrusy, earthy hop profile. We finish off the boil with classic pumpkin pie spices and a touch of brown sugar. [previous batch 10.5%)
