American Stout Ale At GoodLife Brewing, we add Northwest twists to all our creations and feel this beer is a perfect example. Why you ask? Well, it is an American Stout, a category that is the outcome of US based brewers’ vision for a stout, resulting in a smooth bodied ale with subtle hints of roasted malt and chocolate combined with a slight coffee and cocoa character. Yes, there are more twists, but we forgot to write them down. The label of this beer is a work of art that has a few twists of its own. Created with the help of a lady loaded with artistic ability and soul, it tells a story. Did they wearer of the boots, hike the pass in the backdrop? Did they pitch a tent with purpose?
