Oatmeal coffee stout. This is a full-bodied beer full of roasty malts and coffee flavors. On pour it’s a deep, opaque brown with a creamy mocha head. The nose is all fresh coffee with a touch of chocolate, sweet cream and malt. Tasting up front you get the bitterness of fresh medium roast coffee balanced with a malty sweetness. The mouthfeel is full and smooth, almost a meal in itself. The finish is a touch of hop citrus and coffee; refreshing like an iced beverage on a hot August morning.
