Chris Bingham was on holiday in February 2012 in Winter Park and while enjoying a beer after spending a day on the slopes snowboarding, he spotted Mitch Kunce, the brewer of The Library. They chatted over a beer or two and agreed to collaborate to brew beers from The Library over in the UK, and also brew beers from Binghams in the US. The first Binghams brew to be brewed in Winter Park is Brickworks Bitter. While Binghams have brewed Rattlesnake Rye Pale ale, a 5.0% vol. beer brewed with a blend of US hops, which combine with the rye malt to produce a beer with a complex, refreshing, hoppy bite. Please note that the use of rye malt in Rattlesnake results in a slight haze in the beer, similar to that seen in many wheat beers. This does not affect the flavour of the beer!
