The Great Dane Imperial Red Ale deliver a bounty of American hops on top of a sturdy, deep caramel malt backbone used to balance out the hop and alcohol content. It is lavishly dry-hopped with Ahtanum, Amarillo,m and Horizon hops, adding a citrusy, piney flavor and aroma to the toasty, sweet malt notes. At 12.4% ABV, and left unfiltered, it will cellar well for years if stored properly. Natural sedimentation will occur.
