It’s a porter hence the name. Coming from Widnes we can just about remember the old transport bridge. Carpenters the bottler have long gone as have so many other things.
This is smooth not over bitter while chocolate malt gives good colour. We have added torrified wheat to give nice long head. Great with English hard cheese.
