Our Hopaweizen plays on the elegant banana and bubblegum character of a traditional German Wheat Beer, then adds to it a clean and refreshing hop character from start to finish. Bright and zesty Citra and NZ Hallertau hops were added to the boil to add more flavour and a touch of cleansing bitterness. Then, the beer was gently dry-hopped with a new hop variety, Maderina, imparting soft orange and tropical aromas. The result is a balance of juicy fruit flavour and a brisk hop sensation that finish quick and refreshing.
