Born out of an appreciation for the classic style Old Ale, AtG Brewmaster Adam and Beer Engine Brewmaster Brian Holton have crafted the Brettish Bulldog for your quaffing pleasure. An Old Ale, only by grain bill, its funky, sweet malty, and complex. The Brettish Bulldog expresses flavors of cocoa and dark fruit, while a touch of funk and sour round it out. When asked where the inspiration for the beer came, the guys explained it was an interpretation of stock ale, which was described to have a port like quality.
