The wort is made on the basis of a number of malts, that gives the beer the red-brown color. The spicyness is made both with bitter hops and aroma hops, which has given the beer a powerful hop bitterness, that is wll balanced with a distinct aroma from the cascade hop. The used lager yeast has in combination with the special brewing method resulted in a beer with a high amount of residual sugar (5%), which gives a high level of sweetness which balances the hops.
