This traditional German Scwarzbier is a black lager that will surprise you. We used a special malt that is dehusked before roasting so the finished beer is light and refreshing. This gives it a softer flavor than the coffee and dark chocolate bitterness you find in stouts and porters. It makes for one heck of a smooth beer. 27IBU
