Alaska became the 49th state on January 3rd, 1959. To honor the "last frontier" on the 50th anniversary of statehood, we blended 50lbs of Alaska high-bush cranberries with 50 gallons of rich mead on the 50th day of 2006. Aged in a rare American oak bourbon cask for more than two years, we dedicate this elixir to the pioneer spirit of all Alaskans who have shaped this great state.
