[Flavored - Liquor / Spirit]
For products where Eau-de-Vie is used as infusion, or for soaking ingredients (such as vanilla or coffee beans), or for fortified mead / cider.
If you start with fruit as a base, distill it, and bottle the result without aging it in wood for any extended period, you’ve got Eaux-De-Vie. These Fruited Brandies are typically clear (sometimes colored) and have subtle fruit notes. Common fruits used in making eaux-de-vie include pears, apples, plums and peaches.
