Pommeau is a French liquor created by mixing unfermented apple juice and apple brandy (it has legally to be done in this way to be called Pommeau, and wouldn’t be rateable on Ratebeer).
In the other countries where there is no law about Pommeau, it’s often produced as fortified cider (fermented cider), and therefore rateable.
Usage: confirm that it’s done with fermented cider, and not with unfermented apple juice, before assigning the tag
