Craft Beer drinker since 1991. For me it all started with my first bottle of Bass. (It was really good back then.) I quickly moved on to Bell’s which was readily available in Chicago bars and liquor stores. Bell’s Amber was delicious but Two Hearted Ale blew my mind.
A great dinner at the Maple Tree Inn (Blue Island) introduced me to the joys of fresh draft Alpha King. Still my absolute favorite pale ale to this day.
I am now truly a fanatic of all things craft beer. Bell’s, Three Floyds, Goose Island, and Founders are all within driving distance. A lucky man am I!!!
