I was introduced to real ales through badly conditioned broughton and border ales like greenmantle and merlin which I drank out of plastic glasses in the students’ union. Since then things have improved dramatically. Big fan of Deuchars, Stewarts, Spitfire, Flowers, Allgates and many more. I also love Falken Beer from Switzerland.
