A friend took me to the Copenhagen Beerfestival 2003. I drove to Brugge, Belgium the same year with some other friends on a beertrip. Among other places we visited the Westvleteren Monastry... without even knowing we were in a beergeek’s Mecca.
We started handbrewing in 2004. I’ve been a happy handbrewer ever since, rating good and interesting beers on this website. In 2007 Mette, Theis, Bager, elektronikfagteknikerlærling (AKA Per) and I started The BeerClub. We meet occasionally and enjoy and rate interesting beers. [ less ]
