I like good beer. I like interesting beers. All styles interest me, but I get sick of american styled IPAs that are now taking over the market. Finding a good old school Bitter is now difficult, finding a good Mild is virtually impossible. I regular work at beer festivals, and am always interested in trying new beers. What I will say is that I don’t know or use the technical jargon that is used to describe beers. So expect my reviews to be scatter brained and occasionally with what may appear to be unusual comparisons. (e.g: I use Lychees to describe a type of beer that has sharp, complex, sweet, fruity hops) I am based in England but have previously lived in the south of Germany. I love good beer whatever the style and appreciate good non-gimmicky experimentation from breweries as well as older more traditional styles. [ less ]
