I'm not a beer lover. I'm a wine lover. Whoa! Sacre Blue!! I drink wine with food, that's the real pleasure, so it's the combination of food enhancing the flavor of the wine and vice versa. If I just drank a glass of wine - no food, it wouldn't be nearly as pleasurable or as complex because differing foods change the flavor of the wine, so wines with meals are a must if you're into drinking wines...why am I into beer ratings? Really, the only reason I'm rating beers is to meet one of my lost friends on his jagged wavelength, so I still have something in common, so I can connect with some part of his subconsciousness that continues to function in relatively good working order, as he's rated hundreds of beers, and is as lost as ever, so in the words of the aliens in Ursula K. LeGuin's THE LATHE OF HEAVEN, attempting to explain how humans get lost in their dreams, and have such a hard time finding themselves, and one another, they can only say, "Incommunicable. Language used for communication with individual-persons will not contain other forms of relationship..." and offer a song, "Do you need anybody? I need somebody to love, I get by with a little help, with a little help from my friends..." while attempting to explain how clarity can be reached in dream travels: "crossings in mist..." this is my beer philosophy, in attempting to reach my friend from the other side... can't say more...
