I’ve been intensively studying beer since 1999, when I utterly lost my heart at the Czech brewery Bohemia Regent in the tiny city of Trebon. Such generosity and such wonderful beer! And I’m not only talking about my University paying my travel bill, but indeed the friendly and proud attitude towards beer and beerdrinkers that I met all around Bohemia and Moravia.
Since 2002 I’ve been a full time professional advisor and text-writer to a whole bunch of performers on the Danish beer scene – from tiny microbreweries to large importers and distributors of imported beer. In that sense I’m not at all an objective evaluator - and of course I will restrain myself for writing about my clients products. But I gladly join the community with the purpose of giving and of course getting interesting information.
I’ve got my own website glocalbeer, which I have been working on since 2002. The website is in Danish and unfortunately I don’t really have the time to translate the content. But take my word for it, there a lot of man-hours in that website ;)
