Homebrewer/beer nerd. My favorite beers are sessionable pints, balanced and not palate-destroying. I brew a lot of bitters (often with Cascade or Centennial instead of Goldings or Fuggles), porters, and stouts alongside the occasional IPA, Vienna lager, and saison. I can’t stand breweries that make rookie mistakes like diacetyl and acetaldehyde. Likewise with beer bars that don’t clean their glasses or tap lines.
