I use the following scale for my place ratings:
100 = (A very special beer place)
94 = (World class)
88 = (best in area, a must for locals and visitors)
82 = (Solid place, near the top of the list for locals and visitors)
76 = (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)
70 = (Locals should check it out, visitors with extended time)
64 = (Just ok)
58 = (Local place tickers only)
52 = (Borderline whether this should be on the site)
46 = (Not worth visiting)
I only use the total score, not the component parts. [ less ]
