As a devoted beer-drinker since 16 (and occasional home-brewer in recent decades), I enjoy most beers, but particularly cherish those with high alcohol and light body. I firmly believe that teetotalers are evil and that everyone should drink beer copiously. (I also love wine and hard liquor, but I suppose those proclivities are best elucidated in another forum.) Although I am conversant with a wide range of fairly esoteric brews, I am by no means a true "beer snob", as I enjoy a good ol’ American macro-lager (as long as its ice cold) as well as a musty ale from deep in the heart of Flanders. (I’ve been known to down a 40-ouncer or three in my time.) A few of my favorites include Grain Belt Premium, Orval and Coors (preferably draft.) To me, nothing beats downing ice-cold beer while listening to hard-core country, rockabilly and blues (to cite just a few favored genres). Good weed and cigars are also an important part of the package. I am an unabashed hedonist, and will be a beer drinker/swiller until I kick the bucket, and perhaps after that, as well. I could go on, but it’s time to crack open another bottle. Regards.
