To drink one sip of a beer and think you know it all is like smiling to a beautiful woman and bragging you had her. So don’t be a dick don’t tick.
Craft beer is everything ticking is not. Craft beer means time and dedication, passion and love. It is costly and inefficient. If you’re into the Buddhist stuff you might say craft beer is the ultimate zen. It’s a share of passion from the brewer to you, the drinker of the beverage. One should honor that.
But don’t be sad, there is beer for tickers, without passion and dedication, highly efficient, bland and cheap. It is the pale stuff bums buy with the dime they found.
I do understand that you evolved from the Homo Habilis, the hunter-gatherer people who wandered the Earth even before the invention of brewing, but that is not an excuse for collecting beer ticks. If you feel collecting is still part of your nature, there is something nice you can do. It is called stamp collecting.
But cheer up, stop whining! Even you can change. ;-) Evolve and leave behind the ticking. Start enjoying craft beer! [ less ]
