Life is to short, to drink bad beer (or coffe). When I was younger, in the 70s & early 80s, these were the dark ages of beer in Sweden. These were the days of: wait for it - - - "prips blå" - - - A potion propably concieved by the devil, to zap the swedish people of all joy of living. To turn them into willing slaves, meek workers in a "socialist" structure. The salvation in those days were a short ferry trip (one hour) away. Across the strait was Copenhagen, and amber delight in the shape of Carlsberg, Tuborg and innumerable breweries with names, un-pronuncable even when sober. And i thought this must be the worlds best beer Until i discovered - German Beer, then - Chech Beer, then - Belgian Beer. So thats were i’m at now, 30 years of travels and beer sampling.
