I’m 21, so I up until recently, my beer spectrum was limited to what was available. Fortunately, I spent the last year living in Munich, Germany and traveling around Germany and to Austria and the Czech Republic, so I quickly gained a fair amount of experience. I’ve visited all of the Munich breweries, the Pilsner Urquell brewery in Pilsen and sampled beers from all over the three countries; Pilsners, Weißbiers, Märzen/Vienna, Rauchbier, Kölsch, Dunkel and Helles Lagers, Bock and Doppelbock/Starkbier, Schwarzbier, etc. Now that I’m back in the States I’ve been expanding my ale experience. I recently started homebrewing and am looking to continue to expand my knowledge and enjoy some great beers.
