They open at 11am and totality starts at 2:12. Just seemed better to be away from city lights if possible. We’ll be found at some breweries later on Monday afternoon, though. Not fucking with that traffic.

That was my original plan, but I’ll be in the hamlet of Brooks which loses me a few seconds of totality but allows me to hang out with a good friend.

Our original plan had us popping over the mountains to Bend on Sunday, but that plan was pretty damn stupid.
