Description:
Throughout history beer, like wine, was often defined by its place of origin. In Pittsburg, Pennsylvania...no, start over. In the storied Bavarian city of Munich, the Alpine upland water supply is pure and relatively hard, which combined with lightly caramelized malted barley brews a uniquely delicious brown-coloured lager. Hence the name: dunkel is German for dark. Our fan-boy Munich Dunkel is almost as delicious as the German masterpieces: aromas of husky cereal grain and freshly-baked bread, rich malty-sweet caramel flavours balanced by delicate noble hops. There’s a good reason the world’s oldest and biggest beer festival is held in this city.
