Description:
May 17, 2012: In honor of the 2nd Annual Long Island Craft Beer Week, Great South Bay Brewery is proud to announce Long Island Ale! Long Island Ale is a 4.75% ABV Amber Ale brewed on Long Island, by Long Islanders, for Long Islanders. It is the latest release in our Tasting Room Exclusive Brew Series but will one day make it into our year-round lineup of beers. It’s full of malty sweetness with just the right amount of hops to compliment it. We used three of our favorite types of malted barley (North American 2-Row, Belgian Biscuit, and German Crystal Malt) as well as Fuggle and Willamette Hops. We are very excited about this release and hope that our fans will be just as excited when they taste it. This bottle is not only limited to approximately 330 bottles, it is also a Long Island Craft Beer Week keepsake with the 2012 logo printed on the side of the label.
