On Black Friday 2008, Freetail opened its doors for the first time—literally ten minutes after we got the draught system operating & without any of our own beer on tap. One email was bold enough to call our opening the “stupidest thing” they’d ever seen & predicted our demise within a month. Fortunately, that prediction has missed the mark by at least forty-seven months as we celebrate our fourth anniversary. To commemorate, we present this robust German Chocolate-inspired brew, made with toasted coconut, cocoa, and an array of caramel malts. This ale is dedicated to all of you who have supported us throughout the years and to our dedicated team who make it all possible.
