Brewed from a formula from the Taylor Brewing Company in Albany, NY circa 1790, Boscos Stock Ale is a unique historical recreation. Utilizing the oldest know cultivated variety of hops in the U.S., Clusters, pale malt and a very common ingredient in early American brewing, unprocessed cane sugar, The simplicity of this formula reflects the ingredients that were commonly available during this time period. “Stock Ales” were commonly strong beers that could be stored, or “stocked” for extended periods of time.
