The name suggests a chili pepper spiced
ale, but this is nothing like that.
Its a super-hopped American Pale. The Inferno Pod Ale is an India Pale Ale that has a big hop character that is balanced beautifully by the malt and alcohol. The aroma is a combination of hops, and fruity esters, with just a hint of toasted malt in the background. The flavor starts off with a strong hop character, adds a nice bold malt character, that fades through to a long smooth hop finish. This beer should dispel the myth that the I.P.A. should only be for the "hop head", this beer has something for every lover of fine handcrafted beers. Brewed with Pale Ale, Cara-Vienna, Cara-Munich, and Biscuit Malts with Magnum, Styrian Goldings and Columbus Hops. Original Gravity 1.056. Brewed for Pizza Plant, Williamsville.
