Hugo is named for my wife’s grandfather, Hugo Effenberger, who moved to Tillamook County from Germany in 1883. Hugo displays strong malt character, with earth, anise and chocolate notes, and a slightly sweet finish. This lager can complement any number of dishes, from salads to cheese to chicken. Released at Thanksgiving. (1.021 BG, 6.25%, 33 IBU, 20 SRM) Available only at Market of Choice
