Featured Beers/Tasting Notes

Milchkaffee, Sweet Milk Stout, Eccentric Café Exclusive, 5.5% ABV
Translates to “milk coffee” and brewed with lactose. Brewed with a blend of coffees from Nicaragua and Papua New Guinea that are locally-roasted by Kalamazoo Coffee Company. Smooth with coffee and cocoa notes.

Le Pianiste, Amber Ale, Eccentric Café Exclusive, 5.8% ABV
One of four quarter barrels in Chicago. Rustic amber ale fermented with Brettanomyces yeast, providing a funky, fruity, bright tart finish. Fermented in American oak foeders.

Hopslam, Double India Pale Ale, Winter Seasonal, 10% ABV
Annual release brewed with six hop varietals and dry-hopped with Simcoe hops. The Pacific Northwest hops lend huge hop aromas with grapefruit, stone fruit and floral notes; the generous malt bill and honey provide body and balance.

Smitten, Golden Rye Ale, Late Winter/Early Spring Seasonal, 6.0% ABV
One of Bell’s oldest recipes, Smitten originated as part of the brewery’s rye series at the Eccentric Café. Citrusy resinous hop flavors with earthy, rustic notes from the rye malt.

Third Coast Old Ale, American-Style Barleywine, Winter Seasonal, 10.2% ABV
Barleywine with notes of dried fruit and caramel and a rich malt background that will grow more complex with cellaring.

Amber Ale, American Amber/Red Ale, Year Round, 5.8% ABV
Caramel and toasted malts with herbal and citrus hop aromas and clean bitterness.

Two Hearted Ale, American-Style India Pale Ale, Year-Round, 7.0% ABV
Hopped exclusively with the Pacific Northwest Centennial hop varietal; solid malt balance with grapefruit and pine resin aromas.
