Large well-lit store with tons of options. Excellent and varied selection of American beer with many imports, but none that seemed very interesting in the import category. Staff was very helpful and took the time to walk me around the store pointing out the local highlights. Cool option to fill 32 and 64oz. growlers. Five bucks for the glass isn’t terrible, but bring your own. The excitement at this store is definitely on tap.

Well, that was...overwhelming. Absolutely huge selection, arranged by style. Very easy to spend way too much. Excellent selection of growlers. too. They had homebrew supplies and wine, as well. In fact, The Bride said she like the way had a numbering system so she could identify something by style, flavors, price, etc. But seriously, man - beer. Lots of it.

Huge selection of beers. Re-organized lately makes it a little harder for me to find what I’m looking for but still a very nice selection. Homebrew supplies and nice growler fill line up.

Hop City is a great beer store. The selection is world class and the staff are highly knowledgeable and always willing to talk about beer. The growler section is incredible with close to sixty taps to choose from. The only problem I have, as I do with most beer stores in major metro areas is that the highly sought after beers are nowhere to be found. If you’re not there the day of release then you might as well not even ask. This isn’t the store’s fault, I’m just jealous I don’t live closer.

Great selection of beer, and the staff, and I mean all of the staff was eager an knowledgable. It is often you go to a place and there is someone there that is not passionate or knowledgable. This is not the case at this establishment. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit.

A whole lotta beers. A lot more than Green’s on Buford Highway, which I visited the same day. Most beers are from breweries you’ve seen before. Beers are organized into large groups by style rather than by brewery. A limited number of rarities. The imports (Belgian/German/British) seemed especially limited. Still probably enough for even a devoted craft beer hunter to find something new. Knowledgeable staff, too. I asked for Lost Abbey’s The Angel’s Share, and the clerk shook his head -- but then said that they still had it on tap in their growler section! Check-out clerk was was a bit curt. Definitely worth a stop.

Went here at opening time on a Saturday. Were there five minutes early and the guys inside walked around and did not open the doors until about 10 past opening. Then after looking around, none of the bottles had a price on them, and when I took them to the register, the guy could only tell me they were "either nine or eleven dollars." They could only tell me what they were out of. The growler station looked pretty cool, and had about 60 taps, I think. Seemed like a decent place.

Went in here on a recent visit to ATL. Tap selection was expansive but not many hard to find beers on the wall. Bottle selection is probably one of the top 5 I’ve seen. Bottles a bit mixed around but you need to be patient and check out all the shelves-lots of surprises and great finds here. Staff knew their stuff too-a big plus.

one of the best stores; i have ever been to’ just added a 60 tap section increasing it from the 15 taps from before; plus the beers are all awesome and in some cases up to get; the beer selection is beyond awesome with over 1000 or more different beers; staff is excellent and some know alot about beers

I haven’t compared Hop City to Green’s officially, so I don’t know who actually has a better selection or prices. If you need to pick up a bottle of liquor with your beer then go to greens. That is THE ONLY reason I would go to greens over hop city. This store is wonderful, and being next door to a 5 Seasons doesn’t hurt, either. Great selection of beer and wine, helpful, friendly, KNOWLEDGABLE, staff..... I’ll be going back more and more.
