Visited Friday lunchtime. Easy bus ride from City. Excellent range of taps. Great staff who were really interested in making sure I reviewed the right Cloudwater Pale (so many to choose from!) Food was fine with some good specials and add-ons. Worth the effort.

It was my favorite pub in Brisbane. Beautiful crowd, many craft beers and nice place to chat with friends.

There are no macro-brewed beers available here, just craft beers and the occasional cider. The place is pub-style with a craft beer emphasis as there are over 20 rotating taps that have mostly ‘main stream’ craft beers as well as the unusual, new to the market draughts. There is also an extensive range of international and domestic craft beers available either in bottles to consume on site or to take home from the cold room bottle shop. The bottle shop is the place to go if you’re looking for something different. The staff are friendly and service is good. The food is good with a mix of pub-style and modern dining but, even if you go only every few weeks or so, the menu choice is quite static. November 2016: the place has quickly evolved into having very much a pub, the saving grace is the craft beers on tap. Standards have dropped and the service level is poorer.

Decently set up place with plenty of seating. Tap list was pretty average really with only a few things that interested me. You can do paddles of however many beers you want; I got 3 and it came to an outrageous $14, high even for Australia. But they serve them in shitty plastic / faux glass cups - points off for that shit. Service was fine. Worth checking out but I wasn’t overly impressed with this place.

Visited on 29th March 2016. Large pub with different areas to relax in. A quiz was going on when we arrived. Decent crowd in and a pleasant enough feel to the place. We relaxed in a side lounge for a bit before moving into the main bar area. Beer range was OK. Not the best I’ve seen on tap. Service OK. Prices a little high. It’s handy and is open late. Didn’t check out the bottle list though which may be a saviour. Not overly excited by the place.

A few years back this used to be the standout craft beer bar in Brisbane however over the years the staff have turned over from an enthusiastic knowledgeable crew to a crew that look like they are just going through the motions. Feels more like a pub these days than a craft beer bar - complete with pool tables and pinball machine. The one saving grace is their bottle selection.

Final venue on my epic crawl of the 6th September 2015 with fellow RateBeerian Nate2g. An expansive space, open far later than its surrounding craft beer pubs. Distinct drinking areas with lounge style furniture. Collages adorn the walls, one area features fabrics and textiles while the opposite corner is pasted with comics. I found the beer range interesting as a tourist, although appreciate opinions have varied. The annexe was shut at the time of our visit. Although a Sunday night, the place had a fair few people, with one or two "characters" roaming. Don’t be put off though, you’re safe under the watchful eye of a security guard who is neither inattentive nor small! Although almost collapsing with exhaustion by the time Nate and I reached this venue the atmosphere revived my energy and thirst! Do visit, if only for a late beer!

Nice place. Some good taps like epic hop zombie, nogne and 8wired. Little pricey but almost 400 bottles from denmark, usa, new zealand... Very good!

In the self-conscious part of Brissie, but this seemed a laid-back and welcoming sort of a spot. Go though the deck and the main room and you get to the "Next Door" bar that can also be entered from Russell St. This part does growler fills and has a (overcold to my mind) packed cool room for off-site purchases. A lot to like here.
